Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 19, 2026

Homeschooly ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

What Information We Collect

Homeschooly itself does not routinely collect personal data in local-only mode. Optional cloud sync and subscription operations may involve service providers described below.

How We Use Your Information

Where data is processed, it is used to provide and improve Homeschooly, support optional cloud sync, process subscriptions, and deliver core app functionality.

Cloud Sync (Optional)

Cloud sync is optional. You can continue using Homeschooly without signing in and keep your records local-only.

If you stay in local-only mode, your data remains on your device.

If you enable cloud sync by signing in, your account and homeschool records are stored securely with our cloud providers to support backup and cross-device access.

Third-Party Service (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions (receipt validation, restore purchases, entitlement sync across devices). RevenueCat will collect and process purchase-related data such as purchase events, subscription status, renewal dates, and an anonymous App User ID necessary to manage entitlements.

Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Legal Rights and Relevant Laws

Because Homeschooly itself does not collect personal data, most routine privacy requests (access, deletion, portability) may relate to data held by RevenueCat.

RevenueCat provides mechanisms and documentation for data subject requests under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other laws. If you request assistance, we will help coordinate with RevenueCat where appropriate.

Data Retention

If you use Homeschooly in local-only mode, your records stay on your device and are not stored on Homeschooly cloud servers.

If you enable cloud sync, we retain your synced account data while your cloud account is active so backup and cross-device sync can function.

You can delete your online account from Settings at any time. This removes your synced cloud account data from our active systems; your local data on your device is not deleted.

We and our service providers may retain limited operational logs and backup copies for a short period for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and disaster recovery.

RevenueCat retains purchase and subscription records under its own policies.

International Transfers

If you enable cloud sync, your synced data is processed using our cloud providers, including infrastructure in the United States (currently Ashburn, Virginia).

We also use RevenueCat for subscriptions; RevenueCat is US-based and may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions.

Where international transfers occur, we rely on provider safeguards and contractual protections.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers that help us operate Homeschooly, such as hosting, authentication, and payment infrastructure.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your data.

Your Choices

You can request account deletion by contacting us at [email protected]. If you use cloud sync, this request applies to your synced online account and associated cloud data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
